On the road to socialism

October 8, 2008

I only wish I were articulate enough to write half as well as Edward Cline.

If you don’t read anything else I’ve recommended, please read this.

We are sheep. We are being led to the slaughter. If you think that sounds alarmist, you’re right. Wake up people.

Socialism will come disguised as help. A vote for Obama is a vote for socialism. A vote for McCain is a vote for socialism. To use Obama’s rhetoric, it’s just different colored lipstick on the same ugly pig.

Last night in the debate McCain said he was totally against pork and earmarks. But days before he voted for this ridiculous “rescue” bill that was laden with pork!?

Which is it Senator?

There is precious little that really distinguishes these two opponents. The outcome of the election will make no practical difference. I made the mistake of believing George Bush’s claims. Look at what we got with 8 years of him. We doubled the national debt and we are headed toward a depression. Do you want more of his failed policies?

With one stroke of the pen, Bush signed a bill that will spend way more than we’ve spent so far in Iraq. When will we stand up to the corruption in Washington that is threatening our very way of life? We need a revolution! But you must pay attention and be involved. And you must vote the scumbags out. That’s the first step. I would rather you voted for Al Franken (I won’t vote for him, I’ll vote for Barclay), than Nefarious Norm. Just send him the message that you won’t stand for the insidious, gradual destruction of our precious liberty.
